Screen Sanity Parent Night
In partnership with US Cellular, the Building for Kids is hosting Screen Sanity Parent Night at our museum.
As families prepare to send their kids back to school, questions around phones and screen use are sure to arise. Today’s parents have countless resources to help them raise a child, yet are the first generation to ponder questions like, When should I get my child a smartphone? How should I prepare them for social media? And, how can I keep them safe online?
Founded in 2018 by a trio of moms, Screen Sanity, a nonprofit, helps families and communities pursue digital health in order to reduce loneliness, depression, anxiety and suicide in a socially isolated society.
The BFK is offering this opportunity at no cost. Food will be provided.
The BFK team will provide supervision to kids ages 4 - 10 who attend with their parents. Children under 4 must stay with their parents throughout the event.
